Come along and be inspired by a film that emphasizes the importance for community to unite around good food. The Mullumbimby Community Gardens is hosting a screening of the inspiring film ‘Edible City’ on Tuesday March 3rd at 6:00pm.

“EDIBLE CITY digs into unique perspectives and transformative work—from edible education to grassroots activism to building local economies—finding hopeful solutions to monumental problems.”

Through first hand accounts, ‘Edible City’ inspires how growing food is fun, community-building, and one of the most “sustainable” acts which we can personally carry out.

Hot food, drinks and fresh popcorn will be available. Child-friendly
$5 – Adult, Children free or by donation

Growing to share – Sharing to grow

We’ll also have Sharon Gibson to take us on a tour around the garden and introduce some of the cultural plants of the place and demonstrate how to cook some delicious foods with them.
