Dear gardening friends,

It’s December already and what a year it’s been! A huge thank you to all, volunteer’s, members, friends and family who have joined, contributed, weeded, planted, studied, taught, mentored, fund raised and participated in any other way to helping our gardens continue to flourish (despite minor set backs like our office burning down.) You are the gardens and without you getting involved, we wouldn’t be as fantastic as we are!

Saying that, here is a personal invite to the MCG Brunch from our lovely el presidente; enjoy this months newsletter,

Anneke 🙂

Dear fellow gardeners,

The past year has entailed many exciting and surprising times at our community garden. We’ve grown and learnt a lot along the way, and now the year has almost cycled past. THANK YOU for your the wonderful support you provide the garden!

I take this opportunity to invite you and your family to Brunch in December, to come together with members and volunteers of Mullum SEED, past and present. This will be an intimate and laid-back morning where we will come together, meet new people and share some delicious food.

The brunch is on this Sunday 7th December, 10am at the Mullumbimby Community Garden. Pancakes, breakfast muffins, fruit and refreshments will be provided (with GF and DF options). Please feel free to bring something to share (please Nude Your Food! ie. no packaging preferred), and a picnic rug. There will be some activities for the kids and we’ll set up shaded areas to ensure we are well-protected.

This is a community garden get-together, so I ask you to please pass on the invite to any member or volunteer that you know, and welcome them to come along. Also, any extra helping hands are much appreciated.

It will be a lovely way to wind down for the year, and a comforting way to begin the next.

I look forward to relaxing in the garden with you.
