Dear Friends of Mullum Gardens,
Here is your weekly update. Don’t forget, memberships and annual allotment fee’s are due by June 30th. We are still working on setting up online processing, however, in the meantime, you can now download the 2013 Membership form pdf from the new MCG website here (http://mullumbimbycommunitygardens.org/get-involved/membership/) or directly from this newsletter her (http://gallery.mailchimp.com/e2d39506a7a20e224ef6aaa5b/files/MEMBERSHIP_AGREEMENT_HardCopy.pdf) e (http://gallery.mailchimp.com/e2d39506a7a20e224ef6aaa5b/files/MEMBERSHIP_AGREEMENT_HardCopy.pdf) . Please note, the annual fee’s of both the membership and allotment’s have increased to help MCG cover costs more efficiently in 2014. Please bring the correct money to the office if possible, and make sure you read the Updated Membership Guidelines 2013 (http://gallery.mailchimp.com/e2d39506a7a20e224ef6aaa5b/files/MCG_Membership_Guidelines_April_2013.pdf) beforehand.
Thanks so much for your continued support, we hope you will stay with us into 2014 (and bring a few friends along too :).

Saturday June 15th, 2013
Following the success of Mullumbimby Community Garden’s Living Soil Living
Future Forum in March when seventy people braved the floods and torrential
rain to learn about composting and soil fertility, our winter session will
hopefully be drier, equally informative and entertaining.
The day will commence at noon with a composting workshop with our
Permaculture guru, Sharon Gibson.
At 3pm our key note speaker, Phil Dudman (ABC radio’s Saturday morning
Gardening presenter) topic will be “The Lazy way to increasing Soil
Fertility – Let nature do the work”.
Phil understands the constraints our busy lifestyles and he wishes to share
his vast experience and to help bring success and enjoyment to your winter
People are also invited to bring their gardening questions to present to
Phil and our panel of local experts who will share their passion and
knowledge to answer issues such as “What can I grow in winter? and “How do I
prune my fruit trees?”.
This forum will be held on Saturday June 15th, 2013 at the Mullumbimby
Community Garden, at the southern end of Stuart Street.
Entry is by donation and hot food and drinks will be available at the Mullum
Community Market and also on site.
