What’s on at the Mullum Community Gardens this week? How can you get involved?
Weekly Update 11th-17th
Dear muddy garden lovers,
Here is your friendly weekly reminder of whats on this week at the Mullum Community Gardens.
* Please note** The Plant Guardians & Holistic Seed Raising workshop (due tomorrow Sat 9th) at Koonyum Visions has been cancelled this week due to weather and mud, stay tuned for later announcements of it going ahead.
* Allotment holders- If you haven’t made it down to the gardens in a while, please check your plot soon as some structures were blown down and much produce is awaiting being picked.
* Bale Twine causes grief!! Please collect and store your bale twine responsibly, it creates huge problems for whipper snippers and wildlife.
* Donations of Hardwood needed to finish(weather proof) the tools shed container roof. Please contact Terry with any supplies on 0466 691 721.
* Bales of straw available onsite for $5.50. Please pay using the FFA donation boxes, so mulch can be delivered regularly by Byron Tree Service.
* Biochar is now available at the Safe Seeds Shed $10/kg.
