MCG Weekly Update

Dear Friends of Mullum Gardens,

So nice to finally see some sun today, although it probably won’t stay for long, so get your gum boots on and march down to the garden before the next bout of crazy weather hits us. We don’t let the weather stop us. There’s still plenty of regular activities on and a few special events as well. Tuesday 26th is ‘Volunteers Harvest Celebration Day’, celebrating all the hard work and endless efforts put in by the volunteers to make MCG what it is, and Jerry Coleby Williams ( will be hosting an information afternoon on Sat March 2nd 1-5pm. So don’t miss out on all the fun, see the calendar below for more details.

Jerry Coleby Williams will be hosting a Q & A forum on Sat 2nd March at the MCG, see below for more details.

* Donations of Hardwood needed to finish(weather proof) the tools shed container roof. Please contact Terry with any supplies on 0466 691 721.

* Bales of straw available onsite for $5.50. Please pay using the FFA donation boxes, so mulch can be delivered regularly by Byron Tree Service.
* Bale Twine causes grief!! Please collect and store your bale twine responsibly, it creates huge problems for whipper snippers and wildlife.

* Biochar is now available at the Safe Seeds Shed $10/kg.
