Dear Friends of Mullum Gardens,
2013 is off to a great start down at the gardens with Dirt Club for the kids and Natural Bee keeping workshops for everyone else. There’s permaculture courses starting soon, we have new groups forming like the Mens Shed, the Elders Garden group and Mums’n’Bubs support group on Tuesdays so there’s something for everyone. If you’re wondering what exciting things you should get up to this year, how about putting your hand up to get involved in a project at the MCG or just join in on our volunteer days (Tuesdays and Thursdays).

A quick survey for transport in the Northern Rivers
Sustain Northern Rivers is inviting everyone in the Northern Rivers to participate in a survey of transport in the region (https://scuau.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_0J1GIHqqaBOcalD) . We don’t know enough about how people currently travel within the region and what stops them getting to where they want to go. This survey is designed to give us more information about this.
Sustain Northern Rivers (SNR) is a collaboration which communicates, consults and collaborates for action on climate change. It comprises 26 organisations from across the government, education, health and community sectors. SNR has developed an action plan that identifies key actions for transport, energy and food. Click here to do the survey online or find out more info. (https://scuau.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_0J1GIHqqaBOcalD)
The results will be available on the Regional Development Australia – Northern Rivers website, on 28 February 2013.
